I'm the guy who tried to sell underpants, oil paintings, and herbal remedies before co-founding ExpressVPN with Dan and sticking with that for 14 years. Now I’m building Titanium Birch. My job description there is basically "Chief Organization Designer" with the ambitious goal of building a firm that outlasts me.
Philosophy:
I'm heavily influenced by the Non-Aggression Principle and Ayn Rand's Objectivism. I'm an optimist who believes in progress—and that effective error-correction is the key to knowledge growth. If only humans had figured this out sooner, we'd be immortal.

Teamwork and Fast Feedback Cycles
I want teams (and they'd better be cross-functional to break those silos!) to know exactly what they own, make their work visible (no working in 'little caves'!), and have ridiculously quick feedback. If a computer test takes longer than a few seconds, I start to twitch. I hope customers will be so delighted they give us high-fives multiple times a week. Basically, I want constant, small wins, delivered by one unified, lightning-fast crew.
Iterative Process Improvement
I like writing down the steps in a process, then iteratively improving it. Agent-based workflows come naturally to me.
My Eyes vs. Your Voice
I read much faster than I listen. If it’s important, please put it in writing first. Meetings often are for discussing the content I already read.

Multi-Tasking
I can multi-task if needed, but I recognise my limitations. I don’t produce my best work when I’m jumping between 100 things. Short bursts are okay, but I do my best work when focussed.
