There is no App Store or Play Store download. Fidaro runs in your browser — at app.fidaro.ai, which is its address on every device you use. You can still put it on your home screen or in your Dock, and after that it opens like any other app.
Install it
Open app.fidaro.ai in your browser first, then:
- iPhone or iPad — in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen
- Android — in Chrome, open the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen
- Mac — in Safari, choose File → Add to Dock
- Windows, or Chrome and Edge anywhere — click the install icon at the end of the address bar
It takes a couple of taps, and it is the thing that stops you having to remember the address at all — Fidaro is then an icon like everything else on your phone.
What that gets you
Its own icon, and a full-screen window without browser tabs and toolbars around it. On an iPhone it is also the only way to get a notification when a reply is ready — Safari does not offer them to ordinary tabs.
Why it is a browser and not a download
The encryption that protects your conversations happens in the page itself, and a browser is the one place you can see exactly what it fetched. A store app is a sealed box you have to take on trust.
What it does not
It is the same Fidaro, so it needs a connection: there is no offline mode, and nothing is downloaded to read later. Sign-in and unlocking work exactly as they do in the browser. On an iPhone or iPad the installed app keeps its own site storage separately from Safari, so you sign in and unlock again the first time you open it.
