A Project is a space for one ongoing topic — a piece of work, a case, a course, a side venture. Chats you put in it stay together, and you can give the Project standing instructions that shape every conversation inside it.
Creating one
From the sidebar, create a Project and give it a name and, optionally, a short description.
Instructions — the useful part
Each Project can hold Instructions: standing guidance applied to every chat inside it. Rather than re-explaining your context in each new conversation, say it once.
Useful things to put there:
- who you are and what you are working on
- the tone and length of answer you want
- background that would otherwise need repeating
- things to avoid
Adding existing chats
Open a chat and choose the Project from its header, or use Move to project in the chat's ⋯ menu in the sidebar.
Deleting a Project
Deleting a Project removes the Project and its instructions. Your chats are kept — they simply stop belonging to a Project.
Privacy
A Project's name, description and instructions are encrypted on your device under a key we do not hold, exactly like your messages. Organising your work does not make any of it more visible to us.
